Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP Garda Bresciano

Our DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from a blend of Leccino, Casaliva, and Frantoio olives, with over 55% coming from these varieties. The olives are harvested from adult plants (approximately 50 years old) grown in polyconic pots in the hilly area of Valténesi and along the Garda Bresciano coast.

The oil features a fruity aroma of fresh olives, with subtle hints of aromatic herbs and a delicate almond scent. Its flavor is sweet and fruity, complemented by a slight bitter and spicy sensation. This oil is perfect for flavoring fresh and grilled vegetables, fish dishes, and other delicate foods. It also enhances the texture of leavened cakes, making the dough pleasantly crumbly.

The oil is produced using a continuous cycle with a hammer crusher and centrifugal decanter for cold extraction, ensuring the preservation of its natural qualities. Milled within 24 hours of harvest, it has a green color, with intensity varying depending on the olives' maturity. Its exceptionally low acidity (0.2% – 0.3%) highlights its superior quality.

As a PDO Extra Virgin Olive Oil, it is a high-quality oil, recommended for raw use. Thanks to its digestibility, pleasant taste, and therapeutic properties, it is a fundamental element of the Mediterranean diet, making it suitable even for the diets of young children.
