Ind.Mediterranea snc-Olio Faiulo

The Mediterranea oil mill of Faiulo s.n.c., was founded in 1989 by Massimiliano Faiulo.Il his project was then carried out by his family continuing the path of quality. Faiulo-Olio di Frantoio was among the pioneers in 1999, for obtaining the "Terra d'Otranto" protected Designation of Origin brand, with the first bottle with the D.O.P. brand of Salento certified in the 2000-01 vintage. He is also one of the founding members of the Consortium for the Protection of D.o.p. based in Lecce. It is a short supply chain company producing olives for oil with its own olive farm extended for over 15 hectares with about 5000 plants, including adults and centuries-old, in the process of conversion due to the well-known events related to Xylella fastidiosa with the replanting of resistant varieties.
