Elixir of Two Seas
The Elixir of Two Seas was born out of a desire to celebrate the thousand-year history of Taranto, a city founded by the Spartans in 706 B.C. and overlooking two seas, the Mar Grande and Mar Piccolo. This liqueur, produced by Tamburrini 1986, is a tribute to the city's roots and its glorious past. The choice of licorice as the main ingredient is not accidental: this plant, represents the strength and tenacity of the people of Taranto, qualities that the Spartans, skilled warriors and strategists, passed on to their descendants.
